We emphasise the FUN in FUNdraising and raise monies to help run the Federation. We arrange a variety of interesting and fun outings, holidays and events. Sales of WI County calendars, diaries and gifts also augment income.

BULB SCHEME

Catalogues and order forms from Walkers Bulbs of Lincolnshire will soon be circulated to your WI and we look forward to receiving your orders. The bulbs from last year are of good value and should now be springing up and adorning your gardens.

CALENDAR 2013
Thank you to everyone who submitted photographs of Wonderful Worcestershire, choosing just 12 from the high standard of entries is not an easy task for the selection panel. We are hoping to have the calendars available at the Three Counties Show in June and will be asking each WI to pre-order the bulk of their requirement numbers so that we can have the correct amount printed to meet demand.

CALENDAR 2014
The chosen theme for next year’s calendar is ‘Water Within Worcestershire’ (abbreviated as ‘WWW’ - which should inspire you to take a look at the website www.worcswi.moonfruit.com ). The subject is open to your interpretation and imagination, it could be photos of anything related to water; of rivers, streams, puddles, some of the fabulous Malvern wells and springs, raindrops on a flower, children or pets playing in water, ice on a pond... the list is endless!

SKITTLES

Please continue to send your results in as soon as possible after your matches. A prize will be awarded to the highest individual scorer, with the shield presented to the winning team at the Finals in May.

COUNTY ITEMS
New stock is available and the recently appointed Sales Organiser (Me) is happy to bring sales items out to your WI or special event – just contact WI House. Suggestions for new items to sell as fund-raisers always welcome.

SUMMER OUTING TO WINCHESTER

Thursday 12th July 2012, departing Worcester at 8am (single pick-up point). Returning from Winchester at 4.30pm. The cost is £15 for members, £17 non-members. Closing date 24th May 2012.

DIAMOND JUBILEE GARDEN PARTY

Entrance fee to include afternoon tea

CHRISTMAS SHOPPING TRIP 2012

This year we will be visiting Bath on Thursday 29th November 2012 daytime. The Bath Christmas market in those wonderful wooden huts runs from 22nd November through to 6th December 2012, and it was thought prudent to avoid the very busy Saturdays.

COUNTY QUIZ
This will be held in February 2013.
